The Disappearing Framework / The Many Concepts You Don't Need With Local-First
May 28 12:15 - 12:30
Frameworks have a weird relationship with data-fetching, often providing partial solutions to an ostensibly wide problem space. Local-first aims to solve "all" of data - querying, fetching, mutation, storage, caching, realtime sync, and the new generation does it better than any framework. This talk will make the case for why shifting data into a library makes for better UX, and a simpler framework.
